Q: Do I need to bring anything to a class.
A: No.

Q: I have limited kitchen experience. Will I feel out of place?
A: The classes are geared for all levels of experience and ability. We all have skills to learn and improve, including me! I'll do my best to help you feel comfortable in the class and with the tasks you'll perform. Please let me know when you sign up for a class that you'd appreciate some extra attention so I can direct some special tips your way.

Q: How can I give a gift of a class to a friend or a family member?
A: I have Gift Certificates available, and I'd be happy to personalize one for you to give. They make great wedding presents or birthday gifts, or for Mother's or Father's Day.

Q: Can I sign up for a class over the internet?
A: You can email me your request to join a class. The fastest way to reach me, however, is always via telephone, as well as the fastest way for you to learn if a class that interests you still has space available.

Q: What does an experienced cook gain from one of your classes?
A: You'll meet others who share your interest in food and wine, and we'll all both challenge and inspire each other. My hope is that we can explore the kitchen with a sense of freedom, almost playfulness, as we create wonderfully flavorful dishes to enjoy together. With all the demands on our time, one of the hardest things to do is to maintain a fresh approach to mealtime. We fall into ruts and produce the same menus, rotating endlessly. Learning to cook with locally seasonal ingredients, maintaining a well-stocked pantry that permits us to be spontaneous in meal preparation, and learning new flavor combinations helps us to introduce new tastes and menu ideas that satisfy us.
